The Coastal Carolina Campus
Coastal Carolina University is located in Conway, just minutes from the resort area of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. The campus is accessible from U.S. 501 and S.C. 544 (see directions below).
The University campus comprises 115 main buildings on 621 acres including the Coastal Science Center and the Burroughs & Chapin Center for Marine and Wetland Studies, located on the East Campus in the Atlantic Center on U.S. 501, and the General James Hackler Golf Course at Coastal Carolina University, a public 18-hole golf facility located adjacent to the campus.
A 1,105-acre tract, including a portion of Waties Island, provides a natural laboratory for extensive study in marine science and wetlands biology on an Atlantic coast barrier island. View the Campus Map »

Air Travel
Myrtle Beach International Airport is located in Myrtle Beach approximately 15 miles from Coastal Carolina University. The following airlines provide service to Myrtle Beach: Allegiant Airlines, American Airlines, Delta Airlines, Frontier Airways, Porter Airlines, Spirit Airlines, Sun Country Airlines, United Airlines and WestJet. Car rentals and taxis are available at the airport. Please note that traffic to and from the airport to campus may be heavy, especially during the summer.
